There has always been a massive deal of confusion, deception, animosity, and hostility against the person of Jesus Christ since He was revealed to humanity, especially when it comes down to His true identity. This in fact shouldn’t take anyone by surprise since Satan has no problem at all with people’s whole conception about Christ as well as false religions, but his main problem stems from people embracing the truth, which Jesus is the very embodiment of.
Therefore, Satan has a twofold strategy based on negligence and ignorance that he uses against those who are not in Christ in order to keep them indefinitely in their lost state.
Negligence pertains to those who happen to have a true belief about Christ due to their long exposure to the truth of Scripture. So they believe that Christ is God, the Son of God, and He’s the Savior of humanity but are not yet willing to give their lives to Him because of their intense love for sin. These people have allowed Satan to deeply embed in their minds and hearts the deceptive and destructive mindset that they have plenty of time ahead of them to receive Christ.
Ignorance pertains to those who have a very shallow belief about Christ, which is partly true at some degree. For instance, they believe He lived on this earth, He was a good teacher, a noble moral leader, and a prophet. Ignorance also pertains to those who hold a totally false belief about Him.
Those whose belief is very shallow actually believe just a tiny fraction of whom Christ is while ignoring the infinite vastness of whom He really is. Thus, they ignore and deny the most critical aspect about Him that can save them. That tragic belief is like being prescribed a life-saving medication, but for some reason, you throw away all the pills and keep the container and expect somehow your life will be spared if you don’t take the pills.
And those who hold unto a totally false belief about Christ don’t believe anything at all about Him like atheist. Or what many who fit into that category happen to believe about Him is completely wrong like Mormon and Jehovah Witnesses. But the overall strategy of Satan is to keep them from acknowledging Christ as whom He really is since doing that would delegitimize their own belief.
But let’s consider how this verse below reveals Christ’s Christ’s omnipotence, omnipresence, and omniscience.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (John 14:6).
Christ’s ability to grant and maintain eternal life for countless number of people who believe in Him unmistakably showcases His omnipotence. Moreover, Christ being able to take up the sins of the whole world in a complete and absolute fashion (John 1:29); which carries an eternal penalty all upon Himself highlights His omnipotence. What about Christ in (Matthew 11:28) declaring, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest”. The big issue is that a finite being with very limited power has no ability of doing such thing. Not to mention Christ holding the entire universe which is infinite by His power (Colossians 1:17; Hebrews 1:3).
Have you ever thought about if Christ wasn’t everywhere simultaneously
I’d really like to draw your attention to these passage of Scriptures found in (John 3:36), which states that “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them”. And the next one found in (Romans 10:13) which says, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved”. These verses apply to everyone, regardless of where they are in every corner of the world. By reading these verses alone, another key attribute that jumps out of them is Christ’s omniscience.
Therefore, Christ being able to take on such a colossal responsibility truly demonstrates that He’s operating at the same dimension as God the Father. In other words, He has the same level of power as God the Father. A created or finite being can only handle one task at a time. If that was the case for Christ in the context of Him not possessing deity
Not to mention prayer, God would have still been able to hear our prayers, but the big issue is that prayers have to get to God by Christ. The bigger issue is that Christ can only handle one thing at a time. So you’d have God waiting and waiting while Christ cannot even deliver on time. Consequently, the whole system would have eventually bogged down and crashed.
